The Air Jordan 2 (II) Retro – Carmello Anthony (Melo) White / University Blue – Varisty Maize were created for NBA superstar Carmelo Anthony, and the color scheme is inspired by the Denver Nuggets colors, which is the team that he plays for.They were a success, selling out at many places on the release date.They feature a white leather upper with faux lizard skin, and blue and yellow accents.The Air Jordan 2 (II) were not as popular as originals, but sold much better as retros.The only knock on them is that the midsole is very soft, causing them to wear out quickly.
